Magistrates describe incident as 'a silly offence'
A Douglas man has been handed a probation order after causing damage to the fence at the former bus station site on Lord Street.
Police were called to the scene on 15 June after James Jeremy Rennison was seen breaking a fence and shouting obscenities.
The 53-year-old, who's address was given as Tromode House on Ballafletcher Road, pleaded guilty to a charge of damaging property.
Magistrates described the incident as 'a silly offence', ordering him to work with the probation service for 12 months.
