Manx Care experiencing 'very high demand'
All elective procedures at Noble’s Hospital have been cancelled due to ‘significant operational pressures’.
Manx Care says its currently experiencing ‘very high demand for care’ and has limited capacity across its services.
It means all planned procedures from today (12 May) to Monday (18 May) have been stopped.
Cancer care and urgent treatments will continue as planned.
A spokesperson for the health body said: "We understand how disappointing and frustrating this will be for those affected and we are truly sorry for the impact this may have whether you are waiting in the Emergency Department or for a scheduled procedure.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding while our teams work hard to care for those most in need."
