Charity to fund the project
Proposals for a new £2.5 million Salvation Army headquarters have been unveiled to the public at the Citadel in Douglas this week.
Funded entirely by the charity, the new project replaces the exisiting building - creating much-needed additonal space.
A formal planning application will be made within the next nine months as the charity looks to recieve approval to begin the work.
Captain Simon Clampton was happy with the feedback from the public - he says the new site will benefit the Manx community both now, and in the future:
