Measures being brought back at future date
The Treasury Minister says the withdrawal of proposals to update Employed Person's Allowance and Income Support regulations from this month's sitting of Tynwald was down to an oversight.
In a letter sent to the president of the court, Steve Rodan, Alfred Cannan said the move had been taken in the light of a failure to publish the consultation response and provide further impact assessment data to members.
Mr Cannan says it's his intention to provide more detailed information to members in due course and subsequently return to the court with "appropriate measures" later in the parliamentary term.
