Cold calling is illegal on the Isle of Man
People are being asked to look out for vulnerable friends, family and neighbours who could be at risk of falling victim to rogue traders.
The Office of Fair Trading says it's had reports of people cold-calling homes on the Island offering repair work after two recent storms.
Cold calling is illegal on the Isle of Man but callers can be persuasive, and sound appealing, by offering cheaper quotes and quicker start times.
You can report cold callers by contacting Trading Standards on 686520.
