Rob Callister hopes the unions will support efforts to ensure departments stick to their budgets
The chair of the Public Services Commission says everyone working within government deserves a pay rise, but it has to be balanced with what government can afford.
Rob Callister's comments come after a two percent pay award for staff was factored into this year's Budget.
PSC workers received a three percent increase for the 2025-26 financial year.
