Director of AbuseFreeLife addressing Safe, Strong Secure gathering
A local abuse charity has organised a training day, tackling coercive control.
Safe Strong Secure has invited John Trott, ex Detective Chief Inspector in charge of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Public Protection Unit, to give an open talk in Douglas.
Mr Trott is now a Director of AbuseFreeLife a consultancy organisation specialising in investigative and safeguarding training.
As part of that remit, the body helps train police and other organisations around the UK about domestic abuse, coercive control, stalking and risk assessment.
The lecture takes place on Tuesday 23 October, from 9am-4:30pm, at Centre 21 on Greenfield Road.
