Philip Farrar says any line to the contrary would make them 'void'
A solicitor from the Attorney General's Chamber says no compromise agreements with public sector employees could legally stop them whistleblowing.
The topic of Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and settlements came up during a Tynwald Select Committee looking into the topic.
Some government workers told the committee they weren't allowed to raise concerns about any potential wrongdoing because of the documents they'd signed.
However, Philip Farrar gave evidence to say there's a specific caveat in all agreements drawn up:
