Public urged to help in search for missing Dolly

Two search operations taking place in Onchan

Efforts to find a missing dog in Onchan are being stepped up today (31 May).

Dolly - the three-legged 13-year-old Chihuahua - has been missing since Thursday.

Today members of the public are being asked to help with two searches.

They’ve been organised by Noodle’s Canine Rescue and will take place at 9am and 10.30am.

Volunteers will be allocated a search zone and anyone who is able to help has been asked to leave their own dog at home.

So far two thermal drones have covered more than 2.4 km², totalling over 13.5 hours flight time, in the search for Dolly.

Noodle, a scent dog in training, has also been deployed on multiple targeted searches; around 500 leaflets have also been distributed.
