The Department of Education and Children has a new approach to improving the behaviour of pupils in the Isle of Man's schools.
Restorative justice has been used in different parts of the United Kingdom and several of the Island's primary and secondary schools have begun piloting the scheme.
It's a different way of dealing with conflict, but special needs advisor Dave Colley says the approach only works if the individuals involved want it to work:
