Island awareness in Westminster is crucial
Chief Minister Howard Quayle says raising awareness of the Isle of Man in British political circles is providing positive results.
The Crown Dependencies, including the Island, are not included in moves to introduce public registers of beneficial ownership.
Following a debate in the House of Commons yesterday, overseas territories such as the Cayman Islands will be required to introduce this measure.
Howard Quayle is relieved the Isle of Man has escaped a potential constitutional crisis.
And he's aware some financial companies on the Island also have interests in countries which will see changes:-
