Quayle says EU nationals welcome to stay

Reassurance follows UK election result

EU citizens living and working in the Isle of Man are being reassured they are welcome to stay.

With the Conservatives winning the UK election with a large majority, leaving the EU seems certain to happen at the end of January.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle says a good number have already registered on the European Temporary Leave to Remain Scheme.

Those who have lived here for five years are eligible for settled status and indefinite leave to remain.
