Profits being returned to customers
The chairman of the Office of Fair Trading has defended a controversial price cut by Manx Gas.
It's after confusion over whether a tariff reduction equated to a rebate the firm's customers were enitled to.
Under a regulatory agreement, the company's profits are capped at 10 per cent a year.
Anything over that has to be handed back to customers.
