Racer's ashes to be scattered on course

Family will visit the Island during TT festival

The family of road racer Malachi Mitchell Thomas say they will travel to the TT next month to scatter his ashes.

The 20 year-old senior Manx Grand Prix winner from Chorley in Lancashire lost his life during Saturday’s North West 200.

He was killed just a day after the funeral of one of the other up and coming stars of road racing, Laxey rider Billy Redmayne.

Malachi’s father Kevin said he was a rider of incredible grit and determination:
