
Publication expected later this year
A project to produce a comprehensive Radon map for the Isle of Man is progressing well and will hopefully be published around the middle of this year.
That's from the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture's (DEFA) Radon Project Leader is Dr Paul McKenna, who says two thousand Island homes were invited to take part in a Radon gas survey in the Spring of 2024.
The confidential results are being used to create the first Radon map; examples of which are already available in other parts of the British Isles.
