Aiming to raise £1,500 with proceeds split across three charities

A team of firefighters is taking on a big challenge this weekend - and are hoping for cooler temperatures to boot!

Paul Lyness, Ash Collinge, Matty Kaighen and Jake Richmond from Ramsey Fire Station will be taking on an extremely strenuous challenge, climbing an elevation of 2400ft, all whilst carrying a dummy on a stretcher.

The team will be setting off from the station, before heading up sky hill to east mountain gate, along the ridge of North Barrule, and then back down on Saturday (27 June).

They're aiming to raise £1,500, with proceeds being split across three charities - The Firefighters Charity, The Great North Air Ambulance Service and Isle Stand Up To Suicide.
