Ramsey lifeboat went to assist a boat which got into difficulties off the north east coast of the Island today.
The RNLI says the lifeboat launched at 11.45am, after a yacht with four people on board suffered engine failure.
The eleven-metre vessel was about 10 miles east of Ramsey.
The lifeboat took the yacht under tow, but was delayed by the low tide when it approached the harbour.
It was expected back at the lifeboat station at around 3pm.
