Guilty plea over multiple charges
A Ramsey man who ran away from police after they found him carrying hundreds of pounds worth of cannabis will be sentenced later this week.
Forty-two-year-old Dean Peter Barter, of Harwood Court, North Shore Road, pleaded guilty to the offences when he appeared at Douglas courthouse yesterday.
These include possessing cannabis with intent to supply, obstructing police, and possessing criminal property; namely £1,200.
The value of the cannabis found on his person (£406) and subsequently in his flat (£680) totalled more than £1,000.
He will be sentenced at the court of general gaol delivery on Friday.
