Two vessels from Ramsey Steamship Company took part in weekend celebrations marking the Year of Culture in Liverpool.
Ben Varrey and Ben Ellan were involved with the ‘Transition Firework Display’.
Both vessels loaded fireworks while alongside West Langton Dock.
They left the berth on Saturday afternoon and sailed into the River Mersey, where the fireworks were electronically set off at 6.50pm.
The event was watched by about 40,000 people on the banks of the river.
