Increase for Arbory and Rushen
Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners have approved an increase in rates for the 2018/19 financial year.
The decision's been blamed on pressure from rising inflation.
Arbory ratepayers will now contribute 120p in the pound, up 2.6% from last year.
Meanwhile Rushen residents will pay 98p in the pound, a rise of 3.6%.
Extra funds will now go towards developing 'exciting projects' in both communities, including new recreational areas, and events for younger parishioners.
