Met Office updates advice
The Island’s Met Office has issued red flood warnings across the Island – with up to four inches of rain expected tonight.
The heaviest rain is expected between midnight and 9am, and Ronaldsway forecasters say the North of the Island will probably experience the worst.
And severe gale force winds means high tide at 2.15am tomorrow morning will see waves and debris wash onto exposed roads – in particular Castletown Promenade, Carrick Bay, Chapel Beach in Port St Mary, Douglas Promenade and Laxey.
