
There could be more delays to a Castletown man’s campaign to have an independent police complaints body set up in the Isle of Man.
Roy Redmayne has been fighting to change the system since he was assaulted in 2002 and lodged his own complaint about the way his case was handled.
But despite a number of Tynwald debates and a select committee report which backed his views, there is still no fully independent system.
In Tynwald next week Onchan MHK Peter Karran will table a motion asking for another committee to consider the case and report back in July next year.
Mr Redmayne claims the Department of Home Affairs is behind the reluctance to change:
