Town honours lives lost in action
Ramsey Commissioners and members of the Royal British Legion will attend the town’s war memorial later today (22 May).
They’re continuing to mark the 100th anniversary of the loss of every town resident who lost their life during World War One.
A simple cross will be placed in memory of William Corlett.
The 20 year-old Deck Hand was serving on board the trawler Merse which struck a mine off Bute in Scotland.
