Group meets to discuss discontinued Route 28 service
A group of residents from the south of the Island are calling for the Route 28 bus service to be restored as soon as possible.
Yesterday (28 April) the 'Save Our Cregneash Bus' group held a coffee morning in Port Erin to discuss the discontinued route which served Cregneash and The Sound.
Up to 70 people attended the meeting.

In the absence of the service, group members say they've helped transport visitors around the area but that this shouldn't be their responsibility.

Speaking on Manx Radio last week, the infrastructure minister revealed it was her intention to reinstate the service to Cregneash and the Sound.
The service was removed last year because it wasn't 'financially viable'.
