Just 1 in 10 due to enter workplace full time
Island students receive their GCSE results this morning.
Around 900 pupils from five secondary schools, plus those from King William's College, will find out their grades across some 40 subjects - many of which are the first to use the new IGCSE format.
Over half of candidates will continue onto sixth form study - a further third will enrol at the College, while just 1 in 10 will go into employment.
