Police still monitoring area
Motorists are reminded that the speed limit on Richmond Hill is returning to 50mph from this morning.
It comes after a prolonged period of 30mph restrictions on the route following extensive roadworks, a period which also saw the second lane in the southbound direction closed to traffic.
The Department of Infrastructure announced the news on social media yesterday, and says unmarked police cars will still be monitoring the area.
Safety remains a top priority, says the department.
