Island's active travel strategy launched in May 2019
Putting facilities in place to make cycling to work easier is needed to increase the number of Manx residents using active travel on a daily basis.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker, whose department is responsible for the Island's active travel strategy.
Since the scheme launched last year, there's been work to improve cycle routes like the Heritage Trail, and bike storage has been installed at some of the Island's schools.
On Cycle to Work Day, Mr Baker says having the right infrastructure in place is vital:
