Chris Robertshaw believes a political chair can push reform
The new head of the Island’s planning committee Chris Robertshaw says he believes a political chairman can push for reform of the system.
Mr Robertshaw accepted the role from Chief Minister Allan Bell, but refused to join a government department.
He says the planning system is facing challenges – and his appointment comes just weeks after Mr Bell expressed frustration over claims the planning system didn’t serve business well enough.
Mr Robertshaw says he’s looking forward to taking over.
