Fiona Moore set to become first female President
Today, eyes will be on the west of the Island, as the Royal Manx Agricultural Show gets underway at Knockaloe.
Organisers will be keeping their fingers crossed for some better weather than was experienced at the Southern show earlier this summer.
There's an action packed schedule today and tomorrow.
But, next year, current Vice President Fiona Moore will make history when she does something no woman has done before - as Royal Manx President Jim Caley explained on Women Today this week.
Tradition dictates the Vice President goes on to become the President the following year.
