16-21 yr olds encouraged to apply
The deadline for applicants of the Roz Kelly Music Bursary 2020 is approaching - on Monday 10 February.
The awards are open for anyone aged 16-21 who is able to demonstrate musical promise and enthusiasm, as presented through a covering letter and letter of recommendation from a teacher or musical mentor.
The lucky applicants will receive up to £1000 to cover travel and participation costs at a UK based residential music summer school.
The bursary was established in 2018 thanks to the bequest of Roz Kelly, a talented and successful Manx musician, who hoped that others would also be granted the opportunity to participate in music.
Entries should be sent to the Friends of Manx Youth Orchestra either by email at fymo-iom@outlook.com, or posted to Windmill House, The Curragh, Ballaugh, Ramsey, IM7 5BJ.
