Safety notice issued on B & Q lights

Faulty shade could fall from ceiling

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is making the public aware of a safety notice which has been issued in relation to various B & Q lights.

The lights affected were offered for sale between February 2014 and February 2017 and have a cast metal lamp shade ring identical to the one in the picture.

It's believed this ring may fracture in some circumstances, which could lead to the shade falling from the fitting.
