Les Mis actor confirmed to star in Frozen the Musical
Local actor Samantha Barks is set to take on the lead role of Elsa in the West End's musical version of Frozen.
The star announced the news on Twitter, saying she is "beyond excited" to join the team.
Miss Barks is well-known for playing Eponine in Tom Hooper's 'Les Miserables', and leading lady Vivian Ward, in Bryan Adams' musical version of Pretty Woman.
The musical will be on at the Theatre Royal, on Drury Lane, and feature songs from the film's score including 'Let It Go' and 'Do You Want To Build a Snowman?'.
Shows are due to start in March 2020.
