End-date extended to encapsulate disaster anniversary
This weekend marks 25 years since the scallop dredger Solway Harvester sank in Manx waters.
Whilst the vessel was raised and sat in Douglas harbour for many years, during the coroner's inquest that followed a scale model was used to inform investigations.
That model is currently on display at the House of Manannan as part of the 'All at Sea' exhibition.
Curator Alison Fox says it's a powerful artefact as it's the sort of thing not usually seen by the public:
The 'All at Sea' exhibition is open at the House of Manannan until 26 January.
