General Secretary of ASCL visits Island
A union head says the school leaders he represents have seen real terms decreases in pay for a decade, and "it's time that they were valued better."
Geoff Barton is General Secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders, which has around 30 of its 19,000 members on the Isle of Man.
Mr Barton had a flying visit to the Island yesterday, for discussions with those members and the education department.
However, he told Dollin Mercer his trip wasn't only for that:
Warning of mass exodus of Manx police officers
New school planned for Park Road brownfield site
Immigration focus of Positive Action Group meeting tonight
