School leaders vote to accept 'full and final' pay offer

NAHT first to respond to revised offer

School leaders on the Isle of Man have voted to accept a 'full and final' pay offer from the Department of Education.

The National Association of Head Teachers balloted its members last week, with 91% voting to accept the pay deal.

As well as a new pay scale which reflects the cost of living on the Isle of Man, the offer includes a commitment to bolster supply staff and to start pay talks for next year immediately.

Education Minister Julie Edge, speaking ahead of the NAHT's ballot result,  said she hopes all unions will respond before the TT:
