Headteacher praises community effort
A forced 'school swap' for staff and students at Ballacottier has brought out the best in the community, according to its headteacher.
An outbreak of norovirus at the site saw facilities closed this week, while a full decontamination took place.
It meant those who attend Ballacottier were uprooted to Fairfield in Douglas, which was mothballed after closing permanently last summer.
