Lockdown exposes disparities in online provision
Lockdown has exposed some of the inequalities in education on the Island but a local school is doing what it can to bridge the gap.
Recently, Education Minister Alex Allinson claimed the pandemic has exposed disparities in terms of online provision for students.
However, Ballakermeen has been addressing the issue by offering iPads to pupils who don't have them, dropping off paper copies of work to those without access to wifi, and making regular phone calls with parents to keep on top of any problems.
