Campaign by former Manx teacher
Island schools are being urged to sign up to a new initiative which aims to address digital poverty – both here and further afield.
Donate a Laptop is being led by former Manx teacher Leigh Adams and the company SilverChip UK.
Businesses are encouraged to donate their spare technology which will then be allocated to individuals through schools which have registered for the scheme.

Ballakermeen and QEII have already signed up and Leigh says he’s hopeful others will follow suit:
Fast-tracked legislation was designed to close 'loophole of expanding problem'
Farmers 'feeling the squeeze' more than ever says MNFU
Too soon to say if Finnish TT rider will have permanent vision problems
MLC given leave to introduce bill to tackle gazumping and gazundering
