Identifies potential issues in any future planning applications
The scoping report relating to the proposed Earystane wind farm in the south of the Island has been produced by DEFA's Planning and Building Control Directorate.
It's required under the government's Major Applications Process and is a technical document to identify key issues and requirements for supporting information that will need to come forward as part of any planning application.
The pre-application advice that Planning Officers give represents their own professional opinion based on the information supplied, and where necessary, in consultation with other parts of government.
Any views or opinions expressed are given without prejudice to the formal consideration of a planning application following statutory public consultation.
