Seized assets to fund drink and drugs survey?

Department of Health looks to gather more data

Assets seized from convicted criminals may be used to discover the size of the alcohol and drugs problem on the Island.

In admitting most of the evidence at present is "anecdotal", Health Minister Howard Quayle says a report is now needed.

He feels it would be appropriate if they were granted cash taken by the courts.
