Moore caught with six vehicles without vehicle licences
A Douglas taxi driver has been fined £960 after repeatedly failing to tax his vehicles.
Martin Conde Robert Moore, of Port-E-Chee Avenue, was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse after admitting having no vehicle licence for six cars and vans.
The 43-year-old was caught with out-of-date tax discs in August and October – he has more than 30 convictions for the same offence.
Magistrates also ordered Moore to pay prosecution costs of £150 – the court heard he’s since paid £6,500 in backdated tax and storage fees.
