46th anniversary of disaster at leisure centre
A service will take place this evening to mark the anniversary of the Summerland disaster.
50 people were killed and a further 80 injured when a fire broke out at the leisure centre on 2 August 1973.
Douglas Borough Council will hold a ceremony at the Kaye Memorial Garden on Douglas promenade at 7pm.
