Risk of fallen trees causing travel disruption
A yellow weather warning has been issued for severe gales across the Isle of Man today (9 December)
Ronaldsway Met Office has put the warning in place from midday until 11pm.
It says strong winds will increase to gale force this afternoon, potentially reaching severe gale force in exposed areas later on and into this evening, before easing overnight.
There's a warning that fallen trees and branches could cause disruption to travel, and there's the possibility of minor structural damage to buildings.
