A 28-year-old man has breached a sexual offenders' order by approaching some young boys while they were playing in the sea.
Geoffrey Paul Sayle, of David Gray House, admitted the offence when he appeared before the deputy high bailiff.
The prosecution said Sayle was arrested on May 22, after being seen by a witness going into the water near the Terminus Tavern, at the northern end of Douglas promenade, and going up to the three boys.
The witness recognised Sayle, knew he was on the sex offenders register, and called the police.
Sayle was bailed until July 9, when he will be sentenced.
