Breached sex offences prevention order behind bars
A jailed paedophile has had his sentence extended, after admitting breaching a sexual offences prevention order.
Prison officers at Jurby searched the cell of 39-year-old Andrew Mark Byrne in April and found eighty pictures on his wall, from films like Star Wars and Jaws.
Six were from films featuring children, such as The Goonies, breaching the terms of his order.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes added two months to his sentence.
Last August, Byrne was jailed for five years and five months for indecently assaulting a child, making indecent images and videos of children and breaching an existing sexual offences prevention order.
