Old system no longer viable
Education Minister Tim Crookall has defended the decision to end A-Level classes with less than eight students.
He, along with Chief Officer Ronald Barr, were giving evidence to a Standing Committee of Tynwald.
High schools across the Island now share curricula to accommodate the demand for certain courses.
Mr Crookall says the old system was simply not financially viable:
