Island shoppers have reacted positively to the news the local HMV store is to continue trading.
The news was confirmed yesterday (Thurs) by administrators Deloitte, although it was also announced that some 66 stores across the UK will be closing with the loss of 900 jobs.
The manager of the Strand Shopping Centre where the store is sited said it was good news for the whole of the Island.
These shoppers seemed equally pleased that the store would remain open.
