TT star David Molyneux has been bailed for sentencing after admitting assaulting his wife.
High Bailiff Michael Moyle adjourned sentence on the 44 year old who lives in Regaby in Bride.
He was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm after an incident on Thursday night in a camper van at Noble’s Park.
The court heard he’d verbally and physically abused his wife after he’d been drinking. She sustained severe bruising and a black eye.
Molyneux’s advocate Nigel Caldwell said the incident was a one-off and would not happen again.
He said the sidecar racer realised he had a problem which he had to address.
Molyneux (pictured) was bailed until July 8, on the condition he doesn’t enter licensed premises or buy alcohol.
