The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed there'll be sixteen electric vehicle charging points installed as part of the revedevelopment of Douglas promenade.
Subject to planning approval, the £21 million investment is set to get underway in September, with regeneration works expected to take a minimum of three years.
The DoI says it will lay the groundwork for more EV points to be added in future.
