Trevor Cowin hoping to gain seat in September's General Election
A sixth candidate has declared their intention to stand for Glenfaba and Peel in September's General Election.
Trevor Cowin, who's now retired, is a regular petitioner on Tynwald Day.
He says his decision to stand has been motivated by the salary and employment benefits.
Mr Cowin refers to the annual salary, along with the pension scheme, sick pay entitlement and paid annual leave as reasons for putting himself forward.
Also standing in the constituency are Katryna Baptist, Colleen Dale-Beeton, James Hampton, Andrew Harris and Alex Perriam.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
